Job Description:

The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants is seeking exceptional applicants for the position of Accountant - Chapter Relations. Applicant should have experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, general ledger entries and reconciliations. Primary duties include processing and reconciling general ledger transactions, monthly Financial Statement preparation, and general public relations on behalf of state-wide FICPA Chapters.

 

Duties also include accounts payable processing for PAC and Scholarship Foundation, processing remote deposit checks for all FICPA entities, processing manual credit card transactions, and recording payments in both the association database and the accounting system. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are a must in this position.

 

Experience and Skills:

Position requires an associate’s degree in accounting or related field and two years of experience in accounting and data entry. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for required degree on a year by year basis. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook); experience with G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc) a plus.
